OUR MAYOR AVNİ KURT ATTENDED THE CEREMONY TO MEMORIALIZE THE MARTYRS OF KOCADERE
830 martyrs who were massacred by Greek soldiers and Armenian and Greek gangs on April 29, 1921 in Kocadere Village were commemorated with a ceremony.
Our Mayor Avni Kurt attended the commemoration ceremony held at the Kocadere Martyrs' Cemetery on the occasion of the 104th anniversary of the Kocadere Massacre.
At the ceremony, which was attended by the provincial protocol, prayers were read in memory of the 830 people who were martyred in the massacre and flowers were laid at the martyrs' monument.
