YALOVA DOCUMENTARY FILM FESTIVAL HAS STARTED
A cortege march and protocol speeches took place on the first day of the Yalova Documentary Film Festival, organized in cooperation with Yalova Governorship and Yalova University.
Our Mayor Avni Kurt, who participated in the cortege march, then made a speech at Barış Manço Open Air Theatre.
In his speech at the podium, our President Avni Kurt thanked those who contributed to the realization of the Yalova Documentary Film Festival, which was organized to reveal the artistic potential of Yalova and support local artists; “As the President of Yalova Tourism Association, I find the Yalova Documentary Film Festival, organized for the first time, important because of the artistic vitality it adds to the city and the value it adds in terms of tourism. As Çınarcık Municipality, we support the Yalova Documentary Film Festival and we will always support such organizations.” he said.
Following the protocol speeches, the documentary film "O Çınar" was screened. The Manuş Baba concert, which was planned to be held after the documentary film screening, was canceled due to the terrorist attack in Ankara Kahramankazan.
Yalova Documentary Film Festival, which started on October 23, will last until October 26.
