Revizyon Newspaper Editor-in-Chief Hakan Korkmaz, who visited our Mayor Avni Kurt in his office, said, ‘It is the duty of every Çınarcık resident to support Çınarcık Mayor Avni Kurt...’
Hakan Korkmaz said, ‘After the 31 March elections, we carefully follow the work and services of Çınarcık Municipality under the management of Avni Kurt. We also see and witness the struggle of Mr Mayor Avni Kurt and his team to get the Çınarcık Municipality out of the situation it has fallen into. Provided that it is in the interest of Çınarcık and Çınarcık people, we may make some criticisms from time to time, but I would like to underline and emphasise that; Avni Kurt took over a serious wreck from AK Party Murat Erdoğan when he first took office and then again from AK Party Numan Soyer. That is why it is the duty of every Çınarcık resident to support Avni Kurt. Yes, this is a supra-political issue and I think it is the duty of every Çınarcık resident, with or without a party, to support Mayor Avni Kurt, who was elected to office with an overwhelming vote difference by the people of Çınarcık in the 31 March local elections. Our Çınarcık, the Pearl of Marmara, will sooner or later come to its rightful place in tourism. We have full faith in this. I wish success to Mr Mayor Avni Kurt and his team, whom I had the opportunity to visit and chat in his office today.’
Our Vice President Ali Kırıcı also took part in the visit.
