HASANBABA TOMB

Yalova was conquered by Byzantium by Orhangazi forces in 1325. Turkish immigration has been realized with the conquest. These migrations were more of an infiltration.

The first migration to Çınarcık took place in this period and the name of Çınarcık was given by the Turks who first settled in the region.

The Byzantines were attacked by the Turks who settled in this region in order to get the region back from the Turks. A bloody collision between the Turks and the Byzantines took place in the attack on Çınarcık, and Hasan Baba, who showed heroism in this fighting, was wounded and taken to the area where the picnic area of our time was with his friends. Here, Hasan Baba leaned against the bridle according to the custom, and from the place where the sword went, there is a water source called Hasan Baba watery name.

Hasan Baba and his friends suffered a second attack by the Byzantines after they rested for a while at the beginning of the water supply. While Hasan Baba was wounded, he was fighting with the Byzantines along with his friends while being pulled towards the mountains.

The martyrs of our time showed a very violent resistance against the Byzantines in the hill region. The Byzantines, who were far away from the forces on the pier, actually found the way back. Because Hasan Baba was seriously wounded, his friends could not leave him. They have not carried themselves to the foothills of the mountain because they are large. Here, along with Hasan Baba, three heroes whose names have been forgotten in time are martyred here. Hasan Baba's friends have buried their martyr friends on this hill.

Despite the centuries passed, the name Hasan Baba was not forgotten by the people of the region, especially during the days of Hıdırdırz, the people visited Hasan Baba's tomb.

For hundreds of years the oak trees between the water supply and the Hasan Baba tomb have been protected by the people to respect Hasan Baba's memory.

Hasan Baba Çınarcık lives as a heroic martyr for hundreds of years in the memory of his people. As a value belonging to Çınarcık, it will be called with mercy after our time.

KORUKÖY

Flowers and history smell Koru District ...

The history of Koru town dates back to the Byzantine Empire period. At that time, they gave the word "kuri" meaning "beautiful forest" in Greek. In the Byzantine Empire period, the queen's mother Eudoksia's palace was chosen as the settlement area because of its location in Deveboynu, the port area, two port areas and the present town center.

Until 1924, the entire population of the province constituted the resident Greek population. In 1924, as a result of the exchange between the present Greek population and the Turkish population of Thessaloniki in Greece and the Turkish population living in the Drama province, the entire population of the town is made up of Turks. The town has been named Koru instead of Kuri by the settlement of Turkish population.

13 km from Yalova. Koru, which is in the distance, is a pretty coastal town with a sea and beach with plain and a slightly rugged terrain. All of Küçükova is first class agricultural land. Reaching from the Samanlı Mountains and reaching the sea through Küçükova, Dogan Stream gives the beach a different color. Doğan Dere, which is used in agricultural irrigation, is the only river of the river. Koru Town is a wonderful nature adorned by large forests, fruit-filled trees and colorful flowers. While greenhouses constitute a major source of income for the people of the city, growing olive, cultivation of field crops such as okra and peas are also common. The Koru town, a paradise for cutting flowers, is a wooden village where summer tourism is extremely active.
