PUBLIC MEETING ORGANISED IN CHINARCIK
A public meeting was held in Çınarcık with the participation of Yalova Governor Dr. Hülya Kaya.
Çınarcık district public meeting was held at Çınaraltı Family Tea Garden with the participation of Yalova Governor Dr. Hülya Kaya, Çınarcık District Governor Oğuzhan Erdi Atak, Mayor Avni Kurt, Esenköy Mayor Mehmet Temel, Teşvikiye Mayor Mustafa Nurten, heads of institutions, mukhtars and NGO representatives.
The well-attended public meeting started with the opening speech of Yalova Governor Dr Hülya Kaya. After the Governor Kaya, our Mayor Avni Kurt made statements about the works of the municipality and the problems of the district, and the people of Çınarcıklı conveyed their complaints and demands.
In the meeting where many issues from infrastructure to superstructure, from street animals to the filling area were on the agenda, the questions raised by the citizens were answered by the authorities.
The public meeting, which lasted for about two hours, ended with the closing speech of Yalova Governor Dr. Hülya Kaya.
Speaking after the meeting, our President Avni Kurt said, ‘Our public meeting was very productive. We took our notes and we will take the necessary steps in the coming days. We will organize these meetings frequently and always keep our dialogue channels open with our fellow citizens. I would like to thank all my fellow citizens who participated in the public meeting and the Governor of Yalova for the importance he attaches to Çınarcık. I would like to express my thanks and respect to Dr. Hülya Kaya.’
Following the public meeting, Yalova Governor Hülya Kaya and the accompanying delegation visited the mothers of Çınarcıklı who knit scarves and berets for the Turkish military and the family of Martyr Mehmet Yurttaş at their homes.
