Our Mayor Avni Kurt made explanations about the works and projects of our municipality at the information meeting held in Çınaraltı Family Tea Garden.
In his speech, Mayor Kurt explained that they have implemented projects such as ‘Employment Desk, tradesmen meetings, women's market producing handicrafts, suspended invoice and awareness seminars, infrastructure and superstructure works carried out for 7 months, debt payments and project initiatives; He also gave the good news of projects such as public bread, city restaurant, study centre, online education, sports centre for women, retired coffee house and public beach.
‘Honesty suits a person as much as a fur coat.’ said Mayor Kurt; ’I am the mayor of everyone living in this city. I took off my badge on the night of 31 March. In my opinion, everyone living in this city is equally valuable.’
Mayor Kurt said that he has not received a single cent of salary from the municipality since the day he took office and added: ‘The trust of the citizens in me is more valuable than a salary. Salary is not received today, it is received tomorrow. If trust is lost today, it is difficult to gain it tomorrow.’
In the last part of his speech, Mayor Kurt said: ‘I want doves of peace to fly all around this city. I want Çınarcık to be a city of peace, love and tranquility.’ and ended his speech by sending greetings to the students of Doluçanak Primary School in Diyarbakır Silvan, to whom books were sent from our Yasemin Koç Public Library.
