ÇINARCIK MUNICIPALITY JOINED THE UNION OF ENVIRONMENTALIST MUNICIPALITIES
Our Mayor Avni Kurt attended the 2nd Ordinary Assembly Meeting of the Aegean and Marmara Environmentalist Municipalities Union for 2024.
The 2nd Ordinary Meeting of the Union of Aegean and Marmara Environmentalist Municipalities for 2024 was held in Pamukkale, Denizli.
At the meeting attended by our Mayor Avni Kurt, the issue of membership of Çınarcık Municipality to the union was discussed. Çınarcık Municipality became a member of the union according to the unanimous decision.
Mayor Kurt received the membership certificate signed by the President of the Union Ali Kemal Deveciler.
Speaking after the meeting, Mayor Kurt said; ‘We became a member of the Aegean and Marmara Environmentalist Municipalities Union, which we became a member in 2016 and the previous administration left the membership. I wish this membership to be beneficial for our municipality. We will continue our work with the understanding of environmentally sensitive municipalism.’
In the assembly meeting of the 127-member union, it was also decided to change the name of the union to the Union of Environmentalist Municipalities of the Republic of Turkey.
