Çınarcık Municipality, which has implemented social municipality projects such as the Employment Desk, the Women Producers Market, the Suspended Bill, and Public Bread, has added another project to these.
The project, implemented in partnership with Çınarcık Life Plane Tree Social Aid and Solidarity Association and Çınarcık City Council, provides clothing support to those in need in the district.
Announced with the slogan “Goodness is in Our Roots,” this social responsibility project benefits those in need of all ages: children, youth, the elderly, women, and men.
Items such as coats, sweaters, trousers, sweatshirts, cardigans, hats, scarves, gloves, shoes, and socks, provided free of charge by X Eroğlu Holding and B&G Store Mağazacılık A.Ş., are being distributed to those in need at the municipality service building.
Mayor Avni Kurt, commenting on the project, said: “We are experiencing the joy of providing clothing support to a vulnerable group, those in need, during the harsh winter days. I believe that this project will inspire many more social responsibility projects full of kindness. I sincerely thank everyone who contributed to and worked on our “Be a Plane Tree in Winter” project. We plan to continue implementing this project, which we carried out without a single penny coming from the municipality's coffers, in the coming years. We will continue to touch people's lives, make them smile, and strengthen local solidarity.”
